    Description

    This auction is for a 8 piece coaster set. There are 6 coasters and one 2-piece box.  They are made of a lightweight wood or paper mache perhaps. These are made in India, probably in the 1980s, of wood, and handpainted in a primitive style with a very shiny lacquer.  The sides of the box are designed in a red and black checkerboard.  The label on the back of the box reads "Foreside, Made in India". The box measures 4-3/8" square and stands 1-1/2" high.  The coasters measure 3-3/8" square.  There is minor paint loss.
    Photos are part of the description so be sure to look carefully.  This item comes from a no smoking, no pet home. Please note that any white spots or lines on the photos are glare from overhead lights and not damage on the item, unless I so indicate in the foregoing description.
